Hard disk configuration question

Featured Replies

Hi,

we're having a LAN-event soon and i'm thinking of using my unraid rig as a 2-player gaming machine. Do i have to change my hdd-config? This is how it is now:

Would it be better to:

- ditch one 1TB drive

- buy another 128gb ssd

- use the two 128gb ssd's for each windows os (not in raid)

- use the 80gb intel ssd as cache

Is this the correct thing to do or can i just install another win VM using the current layout without losing stability/performance?

Thanks in advance!

You can have both VMs sharing the Cache pool as long you have the space. You would of course require 2 GPUs to pass through.
