June 6, 201610 yr Hello all, I will attach my logs here and hopefully someone can help. This is my first ever server build and for what it is worth, I really like UNRAID. I am not at all experienced though so please bear with me as I am doing my best to learn. Thank you in advance. here is a link to my log https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxTYBzTsU-dwVTE0U0h3bjJNblU
June 6, 201610 yr Your appdata share is not set to use cache only, so Mover is moving all the files over to the array, and the logging from Plex (my plex has something like 200,000 files) is filling the logs. Install Fix Common Problems plugin and see what it tells you to do.
June 6, 201610 yr Author Hi Squid, I have installed Fix Common Problems and it doesn't actually tell me anything other than the issue we both saw(var/log 100% full), so I am not sure what to fix or change. How do I make the appdata share cache only? *Edit* It is installed in the /mnt/user/cache/appdata and I just now set it to cache ONLY in the dropdown for the share. I will report back with information later. Thank you again for your help!
June 6, 201610 yr Author It now says this: Share appdata set to cache-only, but files / folders exist on the array You should change the share's settings appropriately appdata Settings or use the dolphin / krusader docker applications to move the offending files accordingly. Note that there are some valid use cases for a set up like this. I am not sure which files it means or where I should move them to. Sorry for being a bother. I have installed Dolphin now but I do not know which files to move where. If you could point me in the right direction (remember I am new) I would really appreciate it.
June 6, 201610 yr You are supposed to move, the files at /mnt/diskX/appdata So do this with all the disks you have, disk1, disk2, disk3 etc. If you have everything you want on the cache drive (configuration files, for example watched status on plex etc, or don't need this), you can just delete them instead of moving them.
June 6, 201610 yr Author Thank you Bjonness406, I went through using MC and deleted all the files on the other drives leaving only the stuff I needed on the Cache drive. I then ran Fix common problems again and it said something about permissions in .Trash-99 being incorrect so I ran the (Docker Safe) New Permissions tool and it seemed to fix that up. Did a full clean shutdown and then powered back up and ran fix common problems again and it shows that all is running as it should be. Thank you both for your help, I was feeling in over my head. I see now that the issue was a simple one to fix, but being inexperienced at this it makes even small things seem like a big deal. Again, Thank You!
