December 26, 200916 yr Hey, I'm trying to troubleshoot my setup and get it working at a good level. Here's my components: Everything is IP 192.168.1.xxx Computer Room. Cable Modem -> Linksys WRT310N running DD-WRT -> unRAID box Living Room. PCH A110 with WD10EADS 1TB Green HDD -> Linksys WRT150N running DD-WRT set to Wireless Bridge mode. Everything is set to Wireless N only, including my two mackbooks. WRT310N setup: Wifi: AP N-Only Channel 6 Channel Width 40MHz Wide Channel lower SSID Broadcast enabled Sensitivity 2000 Network Config Bridged Security: WPA2 Personal AES Everything else is default I'm wondering what speeds should I see when FTP'ing something from my Macbook Pro to the PCH? I'm seeing about 700 KB/s max usually a bit lower average, like 550-650. What about from unRAID (or anything else hardwired to the WRT310N)? I haven't tested this yet, bringing me to part 2: I cannot see the shares from the unRAID box on the PCH. I can't see them on the MBP in "Network" either, but if I type in smb://Tower/ it prompts me to select a share to connect to, and works fine. I have the shares exported as smb and nfs. I guess my questions are this: 1. How can I setup the two routers to get max performance, and what are the top speeds I should expect over wireless-N? 2. How can I get the PCH to see the unRAID shares?
January 1, 201016 yr Apparently that's not a setup any of us are familiar with. I suspect something is wrong with your bridge setup as I swear I pull more than that between my WRT54Gs. As far as your PCH, there are plenty of other forums here to check. Sorry we didn't respond in time but it seems like these issues aren't directly unRaid related.

Can't help you on question 1 but once you get your network squared away, just setup a user share on the UnRAID Server and point your NMT to that network share. Basically, I just have a user share within UnRAID called "media" and I direct my NMT A-110 to that share using something like smb://toweripaddress/media where toweripaddress is the numeric ip address of my UnRAID server. If you're using YAMJ then it's a little more complicated but not much.
