June 7, 201610 yr Posting this, to have it conserved. This controller doesn't support drives bigger than 2.2TB. It is also not identical to the PERC 6i that can't be crossflashed. https://www.mediafire.com/?k9nyyy1wu764992 MD5: cd3ab3c2d7841d7de3171e1ba4ea0a31
January 3, 20179 yr The link doesn't work anymore. So how do you flash the SAS 6/iR to it mode? EDIT: i found it https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12767.0 use the LSI3081E firmware

If they are SATA drives, yes, it is limited to 2.2TB (the controller can "see" the drive, but can address/utilise/use only 2.2TB of it). Tested with the last P21 IT Mode firmware and several 4, 6 and even 14TB SAS drives. Have not tested it with B2 or B1 versions of the chipset, but the B3 is working OK (crossflashed several DELL PERC 6IR and Gigabyte GC-RLE086-RH). Edited January 20, 20206 yr by Ba4o Kiro
