October 21, 20169 yr Author A quick update ... I'm almost done with v1 of the ControlR plugin, which will provide a GUI to set up user permissions. The plugin will probably be required to provide additional app features (if the plugin is not installed, some features will not be available) Hopefully I'll release it next week. I'll also publish a new app version, which will mainly be a maintenance version (updating libraries, small fixes, etc.)

October 21, 20169 yr Can i ask what purpose the ControlR plugin for unRAID serves as the app seems to funstion perfectly well without it? I have just 'test' installed it and can see no eveidence of it on my server., where should i be looking? It's not showing in 'Plugins' 'Tools' or 'Settings'. Do i need a reboot?

October 21, 20169 yr Author Purchased but unfortunately couldnt fibd my servers either auto or manually. I was sitting 10ft from router at the time. Refund actioned aok. Any ideas why not? <edit> I re-ordered the app after reading through this whole support thread and after increasing timeout dramatically managed to manually add my servers so all good so far. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk Got it, yea .. some servers have different timeout threshold from what I have gathered.

October 22, 20169 yr Thanks... Actually looks like we may have to wait for the name change to take effect. Since there was no change to any templates, the feed won't update with just a name change of the repository. I'm sure that an author will make a change within the next day or so.

October 28, 20169 yr Author Hi, I found a significant issue in the user permission system, thanks to a report from a forum member. Basically, non-root users can't login within the app, with their own password. The issue is due to how the app is stretching the use of unRAID's underlying http server, which is meant to be consumed from a browser by root (a purpose it serves well). I'm still scratching my head at how it worked in my setup, but I may never be able to figure it out You can still set up users and permissions for dockers/vms, but you will need to enter the 'root' password, for any non-root user you want to access the server through the app. After that, permission will work normally. I've pushed a new version to address this issue, I'll post back when it's available on both platforms.
October 30, 20169 yr Author v2.2.0 is now available on both stores The user permission system has changed. You need to enter the root password for any non-root user you want to access the server. Permissions will then apply as per your setup. The timeout logic for automatic discovery changed a bit. If you're still having problems with it, please play around with this timeout. Also in this release: - App version appears in the main Settings page - Cosmetic fix to the selection element (automatic/manual; cards/list) - General improvements and bug fixes Cheers !
