June 16, 201610 yr I am trying to get one of two Dlink cameras to send video clips to an SMB share I have created. First I tried to get the camera to save the clips to the SMB share but that didn't work, then I tried to get the camera to FTP them and that failed too. The log shows this: Jun 16 10:47:41 Tower vsftpd[28708]: connect from 192.168.111.120 (192.168.111.120) Jun 16 10:47:41 Tower vsftpd[28708]: [user] OK LOGIN: Client "192.168.111.120" Jun 16 10:47:42 Tower vsftpd[28711]: [user] FAIL MKDIR: Client "192.168.111.120", "/mnt/Cam" Jun 16 10:47:42 Tower vsftpd[28712]: connect from 192.168.111.120 (192.168.111.120) Jun 16 10:47:42 Tower vsftpd[28712]: [user] OK LOGIN: Client "192.168.111.120" That share was create public, the FTP server is running, and I have added the 'user' to the FTP. Not sure why its giving the error FAIL MKDIR. The share is called Cam Diagnostic logs attached. This is what Dlink says about FTP on the page from the Camera. FTP server: "Remote folder name" Granted folder on the external FTP server. The string must conform to that of the external FTP server. Some FTP servers cannot accept preceding slash symbol before the path without virtual path mapping. Refer to the instructions for the external FTP server for details. The folder privilege must be open for upload. "Passive Mode" Check it to enable passive mode in transmission. tower-diagnostics-20160616-1054.zip
June 16, 201610 yr If Cam is a share you created in unraid, the path is wrong. It should be /mnt/user/Cam.
