RocketRaid 2640x1 not showing disk

Featured Replies

I'm expanding using a HighPoint RocketRAID 2640x1 PCI-Express x1 Four-Port SATA and SAS RAID Controller Card.

The card shows up fine under system devices, but the drive does not.

I have a single 1TB drive configured in JBOD.

I've tried this script with no change;

Here's my JBOD configuration;

My original disks, my SSD cache, and the controller show up, but not the additional drive;

Attached is my syslog for any diagnostics.

Please help unraid recognize this drive!

Don't set up RAID.  Even JBOD.  Step away from the RAID BIOS.

I deleted everything in the RAID BIOS.  There's no configured disks or RAID of any kind.

The additional drive still doesn't show up in unraid.

I think the problem with this card is that the Marvell 88SE6445 chipset might not be supported in UnRaid, which may be why its not detecting the drives.

See if you can get support to give you the quick boot BIOS, that forces it JBOD and worked fine with the three different RR cards I used in unRAID.

I'll give the quick bios a try, thanks for the info.

the quick bios didn't show a change.

I guess there's no hope for this card working.
