I read the wiki on how to use unraid to do the conversion but there are many steps, including physically attaching the disk, etc.

 

Is there not some third party tool and/or bootable media I can use in the standalone PC that will do this conversion outside of the unraid environment and give me a .img file that I can then copy over to unraid, create a new VM, point it to that file and start using it?
