Is there any problems with preclearing 6TB drives in a setup that currently has 4TB parity.

 

These are going to be replacement parity drives.

    No. You can pre-clear any size drives, regardless of your parity disk size.

     

    EDIT: The size of your parity disk(s) vs the size of your data disks only becomes an issue when you try to add the larger disks to your array. When pre-clearing a disk it is by definition not part of the array. Therefore not a problem.
