Is there a docker for a web browser in an xrdp client?

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I'd like to be able to have a browser running on Unraid so I can upload to Youtube, Dropbox and the like without having to leave my main computer running. My upload speed makes rust look quick..

Is there a browser in an xrdp client or something?

edit: dumbass me, turns out the CPU does support basic virtualization so nevermind :P

There's a Ubuntu docker i think that may be OK for what you need, alternatively use a VM and connect to it with VNC.

Or Windows VM and RDP in. That's what I'm doing at the moment so I can control the VM even from my tablet.

My CPU is a G3258 which doesn't support virtualization unfortunately. I'll look into that Ubuntu docker but I'd prefer to have something more lightweight than an entire OS as a docker.. I didn't even know that was possible :P

X2GO and a mint KVM will do what you want with minimal effort.  Mint also uses rdp if you insist on doing that

Thanks, I'll investigate  :)

How would I go about installing x2go? I couldn't find a docker in the community addons.
