Citrix, Raspberry Pi2 & ThinLinx: High-res Graphics Client for $50!

Featured Replies

Hi, the title caught my eye.  If you follow the link https://www.citrix.com/blogs/2015/12/10/citrix-raspberry-pi2-thinlinx-high-res-graphics-client-for-50/ you'll see Citrix was able to use a Rpi as a client, and give one of the best user experience at the moment.  With Raspberry Pi 3, this should even be more achievable.

My question is, any hypervisor, apart from Citrix, VMware, able to do this?  KVM capable of doing this?  Citrix is using a technology called HDX, H.264 streaming or something for the video.  I don't mind paying for Raspberry Pi, and the ThinLinx OS (10) to connect to KVM, if this is possible.

Your thoughts?

P.S. Watch the video.
