Hi,

 

I was just playing around with SteamOS and was wondering if someone got it working using OVMF?

For me it crashes even before the installation process.

 

SealBIOS works fine.

    SteamOS doesent work with EFI, only Legacy.

     

    OVMF = EFI Only

     

    SeaBIOS = Legacy Only

    I installed Steam on a Windows 10 VM. Save yourself the headache. SteamOS isn't good enough for prime time. Peformance is sub-par.

    This may have been true in the past, but it is not the case now. I currently run SteamOS 2 (brewmaster) on OVMF bios.
