I setup LDAP integration with my domain.  I logged out and was logging in with a domain user and now I am getting a 500 error.  It also seems to have rebooted the docker when I attempted the login.

I'm not sure how to resolve this now as the page just gives me a 500 error.

Edit: If I clear the browser cache I can see the login page again.

Edit2: After clearing the cache its working fine.  Seems a non-issue now.  Move along. hehe

Thanks for the reply.  I tried putting in /mnt/user/nextcloud but I get an error that states can't create or write into the data directory /mnt/user/nextcloud.  Any thoughts?  I know I am close here :)

from unraid command line type.

ls -lah /mnt/user

and paste the output here.

Here is the output:

So is it okay that I created a share and pointed Nexcloud to it for the data dir?  Where does the default data directory reside?

Yes it's fine the default data directory resides wherever you put it.

Here's mine:

Your permissions look ok to me.  So I'm confused as to what is going on...

Can you post a screenshot like mine above but for both Nextcloud and MariaDB please?  And what version of Unraid you using?  And just to check, this is a completely fresh install?

How do I get to the custom.cnf file?  I do not see the folder for /mnt/cache/.appdata/mariadb folder in my windows file explorer?  Sorry I am pretty noob at this stuff.

Folders starting with a period are hidden in Windows explorer by default.

Why are you using .appdata?  I only do so because I.... actually I can't remember why I did, but it must have made sense once upon a time...  :-\

Because at one point that was a workaround to prevent mover from moving the files off of the cache drive.  No point in it now however...

Because folders starting with a period were ignored by the mover in previous versions of unRAID (before being able to set cache only in user shares)

At least that's my guess.....

Yep, you're both right.  That was the reason!  ;D

How do I change it to use the mnt/user/nextcloud share?

you don't.

set your folder in the add/edit docker screen like this.

then, don't change the /data in the setup screen for nextcloud.

/data and /mnt/user/nextcloud are the point where the folder inside the container and the folder outside the container become the same point, provided you set it as shown in the add/edit screen.
