Cache Slots cannot be selected

Featured Replies

Hey there - so I imagine this is just a glitch, but I was looking to replace my cache drive with a faster SSD. I copied its contents and unassigned the cache drive, now when I go to select the number of slots, the number of slots dropdown drops down, but contains no text to select a number!

I can now see my new drive, however it is greyed out. I have checked this in 3 different browsers so it's definitely to do with the unRaid server.

I am using 6.2.0-beta23.

Is there a way to add a cache slot via CLI perhaps, just to see me past this issue? I have uninstalled all plugins, turned off docker and vm's to no avail.

Try reducing the number of slots allocated to the main array. Your currently have 24 selected but they are not all assigned.

There's something funky with your config, parity2 should be below parity, not below disk22, I believe others with similar issues solved it by re-formatting the flash drive with the latest beta.

That fixed it (refresh USB drive), and now i can see a lot more in the way of options and features - I guess the in place upgrade didn't work so well for me.

For anyone reading this, it seems you can safely reset the USB stick. I'll have to set up VMs and Plex again but hey - no drama.

Thanks for the quick response!
