Missing config parameters for device mapper

Featured Replies

Is there any particular reason the following standard kernel config parameters related to device mapper, are not in the .config file for stock unRAID (I don't mean disabled, I mean they are not ever in the file at all)?

CONFIG_BLK_DEV_DM
CONFIG_DM_CRYPT
CONFIG_DM_SNAPSHOT
CONFIG_DM_MIRROR
CONFIG_DM_ZERO
CONFIG_DM_MULTIPATH

Followup.....

The device-mapper config options were removed from Kconfig for the /drivers/md source (along with [obviously] the stock Linux RAID options that are obsolete with unRAID).

My question is whether the device matter options were removed on purpose because of some conflict, or whether they were removed accidentally?
