July 13, 20169 yr Hi guys, so the method for making cache only folders seems to have evolved through unraid 4,5 and 6.. And being a new user on beta 6.2 and not being able to distinguish the correct method through the existing posts i thought id ask. Sorry if it does exist for 6.2 beta... I was looking for a cache-only option but couldn't find one for settings appdata to be persistant on cache and untouched by mover. Do i set "Use cache" and then add each disk to the exclude list? Do i use midnight commander to create the folder? or should i let docker create the folder to avoid future permissions issues etc? Wasn't sure whether prefixing folders with '.' was still a valid method? If someone can confirm that would be awesome! Just want to follow best practice in the early stages!
July 13, 20169 yr Author Will i need to enable "User Shares" to create a share called appdata on cache? I'm not seeing any option to create shares at all on the cache...
