First Dual system build

Featured Replies

Hey everyone this is my first post here! I need some help, I recently built my first computer over the winter and absolutely love it. I recently came to the conclusion that I need to start backing up my computer and then saw a video on YouTube about building a NAS and gaming computer in one rig. So I thought I'd give it a try. I guess my first question is would I be able to even do something like that with my current setup? So far this is what I'm running but am willing to do some slight upgrades if necessary. (both my motherboard and processor support virtualization)

Case: Fractal Define R5

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2

Motherboard: Gigabyte z-170 gaming 3

CPU: Core I3-6100

RAM: 8gb Crucial

SSD: Samsung Evo 850 m.2 250gb

CPU cooler: Corsair Hydro H60 Liquid cooler

Graphics Card: none

Nothing crazy but its a start but like I said I plan on upgrading over time. Im thinking I probably at least need a graphic card and some more RAM. Also I have not picked out my storage for my NAS yet but thinking about going with 3 WD red 2tb drives or something like that.
