flashman1207
I recently installed this plugin and ran a scan. It advised me to that I needed to change for permissions of 0777 on shares so I went ahead and did it. Ever since then, when Sabnzbd downloads something the Unrar fails. I get message: Error "[Errno 13] Permission denied" while unpacking RAR files I have checked the permissions of the /mnt/user/Media/Temp Downloads folder where completed downloads go and it says: drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 4096 Jul 14 21:00 Temp\ Downloads/ /mnt/cache/.sabnzbd/Downloads /incomplete says drwxrwxrwx 79 nobody users 4840 Jul 14 17:46 incomplete/ What has happened here? I'm a Linux noob so be gentle...thx Quote Link to comment
flashman1207
Its worse than I thought... I had to restart SAB, Sickbeard etc but nothing will start. Just get: Start failed. ijuarez
are you using Plugins or docker containers? Quote Link to comment
CHBMB
Sickbeard certainly looks like a PhaZe plugin. Might be worth posting in the Fix Common Plugins support thread, and also ask for help in the support thread for whatever plugin/docker you are using. Quote Link to comment

I think its a general problem not restricted to Sickbeard. None of my plugins will now start. I couldnt find the 'Fix Common Plugins' support thread. Could you post a link...... I think that the 'Fix Common Plugin' has just gone to the 'New Permissions' page under 'Tools' and done whatever that does. So thats a general unraid thing I think. How can changing everything to 777 cause access problems. If anything it should fix them..... Quote Link to comment
flashman1207
Ah I found the Fix COmmon Problems plugin support page but as I said it just does the 'New Permissions' thing Quote Link to comment

How can changing everything to 777 cause access problems. If anything it should fix them..... It's a problem with permissions and your plugins. You can either figure it out by asking here, but neither PhaZE or Squid will necessarily read this thread or you can ask in both of their support threads and cut out the middleman so to speak. I'm only trying to help, but it's up to you. Also if you've managed to do something that has messed up your config with a plugin or combination of plugins, then it'd be nice to let the authors of those plugins know, so if anything needs changing to prevent somebody else doing the same thing, which is far better than solving your issue here and have this fade away down the forum. There's method in my madness..... Quote Link to comment
CHBMB
Ah I found the Fix COmmon Problems plugin support page but as I said it just does the 'New Permissions' thing So you ran the new permissions tool? Based on advice from Fix Common Plugins? So ask PhaZe what your permissions should be.... Quote Link to comment

CHBMB
I'll send him a message... thx It would be far preferable to do it on the forum rather than over PM. Helps everyone then. Quote Link to comment
