Hi

Here today I just had in and see me server is running correct it was turn off, i just thought it was a power failure but I have not had anything else that was off ???

So I turned it on again and went to my computer.

There I looked around a bit inside the WebGUI and suddenly it just turned off.

Hope there are some that will help :)

Do you have the latest version of the powerdown plugin installed?  If so post the latest diagnostics files that on are on the flash drive (logs folder).

If not, turn the system back on and install the plugin asap.

In lieu of that, is the system doing a parity check automatically when it fires back up?  If so, then you've got power problems.  Either at the wall, the ups, or powersupply.

That's after the powerdown and covers a minute of time.  Installing the powerdown plugin has numerous advantages including better handling of powredown signals, and saving diagnostics / syslogs when it kicks in.  Without it there's really nothing to be gathered from looking at the new log.

And what that "Troubleshooting Shutdown Problems" line on the openfiles plugin means is troubleshooting when the server won't shutdown

oh, and have you also discounted a cat and/or evil child playing with the powerswitch on the server?

No. We do not have cats inside and standing in a room where it is only me who come.

Do you think it would help to restore the entire server?

Think I found the problem ;D

What I would try to start the server on the power button would not. So I disconnect the power button form the motherboard and turn it with a screwdriver. So think that's the problem.

So now it's just to buy a new button on eBay ;D
