Issue with rebooting docker

Featured Replies

Hi there,

My apologies if this has already been sorted before, I did search but couldn't find anything relating to my issue.

Okay so, whenever I stop the array, and reboot my unraid server, it clears all of the settings for all of my docker containers (essentially, it's exactly the same as the first setup of the container). Is there something that I have to setup to fix / stop this issue? If logs are required, please let me know where to find them and i'll post asap.

Looking forward to your reply,

Kind Regards,

-Keanu

Is your appdata folder set to use cache only?

Basically without more information nobody can tell you what is wrong.  Need a lot more info on how your containers are setup and how your shares are setup.  Screenshots and diagnostics are useful.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I've got no idea to be honest. It's located on my cache drive, however I don't *actually* have a cache drive yet, waitin' on it to arrive. I haven't set it up as a share as wasn't sure if I needed to.

I thought as much but wasn't entirely sure what information you'd need!

Have attached the diagnostics found in there! If theres any other files you need, please let me know.

Also, another quick question. What size roughly should the docker image be? I did have a search around a while back but couldn't find a definitive answer, so I set it to about 200GB as I wasn't sure!

Thanks!

Post a screenshot showing the volume mapping of one of your dockers.

If you need more than 20GB for your docker.img, you are probably doing it wrong. Please read the stickies.

Does this help? and ah okay, I wasn't sure on sizing, so I just set it up as that size a few months ago

If you don't have a cache drive the docker can't store its config where you have told it to.

You seem to be missing some very basic ideas about using dockers, so I would suggest you read the stickies, ask questions, and just start over with a new smaller docker.img and concentrate on getting just one docker working correctly before trying to add any others.
