Backing up virtual machines.

Per the upgrade instructions for 6.2, I want to back up my virtual machines.

This is probably a stupid question but what is the best way to do this.  Do I just copy the xml file to notepad and save it or is there more to it than this?

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
