July 25, 20169 yr Hi, Would it be possible to install a single core vm of say win 8.1 pro and install an http://www.inateck.com/usb-3-0-hubs/usb-3-0-hub-without-power-supply/inateck-hbu3vl3-4-usb3-0-hub-gigabit-ethernet-network-adapter.html?___SID=U and use it to pull data from a Drobo5N? My thought was if there's linux driver's on the drivers' cdrom, but I have no idea how to configure it, and Drobo has no Linux drivers tat I'm aware of or at least I don't know how to sideload apps... July 25, 20169 yr You really don't need it. If you want to integrate your Drobo with unRAID, you could map it using SMB protocol and Unassigned Devices.

That's what i'm going to do, got a 4 disk drobo $60 and going to connected it to my unraid and use it for back up to copy important files and they turn it off and wait for the next month to roll around
