elpuntonegro
Hi, need some help here(newbie). I started my server a few days ago and did the parity check after that i started to transfer all my data to the array and the first Terabyte went smooth (~50MB/s). After that im getting an average speed of ~2MB/s. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction to find my problem. The logs are from a 100Mb connection but i get the same results from a Gigabit connection. Same results when writing directly to the cache ssd, or disabling the cache, or to the disk share. Also did a fresh install to the 6.2 RC. I know the my data disk it's old but want a confirmation or a recommendation. Regards, unraid-diagnostics-20160727-0043.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Diagnostics where taken after a reboot, try grabbing them again after a slow copy and before rebooting. Quote Link to comment

Squid
What time was the slow transfer? Your parity sync didn't finish until 10:44 this morning (started at 12:13am). Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
Log is clean, parity check completed in normal time, so disks appear to be fine, you are only using 2 disks, so write speed should be better than normal for unRAID, it's similar to RAID1, to me this points to a network issue, if you can try with different NIC/Switch/cable. elpuntonegro
The problem was a combination of a bad external usb drive and a problem with a powerline. Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment
