July 27, 20169 yr My MUSIC share is currently assigned to all disks, but I'd like to change it, restricting it to ONE of my drives. (Less spin-up when I listen to music). Questions: IF I change my share to utilize only one disk, what will happen to the files already scattered throughout my other disks? Will they still show up in directory listings for the share? How can I move them from their current locations //disk2 //disk3 //disk4..... to their new, singular home (say, disk10)? (Would I have to strictly move //disk to //disk (not using the share at all) until I get everything gathered?

Unraid doesn't automatically move files from disk to disk except cache pool to array. Unless you globally exclude the disks from user shares the files will still show up in the user share. You can use mc from the console or the krusader or dolphin docker. DO NOT move from disk to user share or vice versa, you will lose data. ONLY move from disk to disk.
