Hello all:

    Just joined after installing unRAID (6.2.0-rc2) for the 1st time. Call me super impressed! (coming from ESXi).

 

    I searched the forums about cloning/snapshots, but could not get all the info I needed, mostly because I am new with unRAID.

 

[*]Snapshots: From what I can tell, this is not possible. Correct?

[*]I urgently need to clone some VMs (Win 7 & 8 & 10), and from the posts, i gathered that it involves copying the vdisk(.img?) and XML?

[*]I have a VM in

/mnt/user/domains/Windows 7 4C 8G 60GB
Where do I copy this to? Do I need to rename it to anything special?

[*]Can both VMs run at the same time?

[*]I can click on the VM and review the XML, but I cant seem to find the XML, so where do I copy from/to?

[*]Do I need to make changes to the XML?

[*]How do I make it show up on the VMs unRAID tab?
