Featured Replies

My Asrock C2550D4I suddenly broke down and i got it replaced.

All was fine the first day then suddenly it tells parity is invalid and 3 disks Show no device/missing.

I have tested to check cables, replaced parity disk cable.

I managed to start up and only parity show invalid, started an parity synch, then after some hours suddenly parity get grey in the middle of the process.

Can somone help me to try to find out what could be wrong ?

Did you run the memtst option from the boot-up menu?  If you don't get a response soon, you should run it for at least 24Hours to thoroughly test the RAM.

A few ideas:

-You didn't post the second log but in the first the all disks were being detected then 2 dropped offline at the same time, double check all cables, power and sata

-I remember reading theses boards needed a firmware update for the marvell controller(s?)

-If you're not using virtualization disable VT-D in the bios, it can cause issues with the Marvell controllers

Hi

Can you point me in the direction where i can find info about flashing the firmware for the marvell controller ?

I am now running an parity synch, should i stop that until i fixed the flashing for the controller and the settings in the bios ?

Best regards
