tim8v Posted July 31, 2016 Share Posted July 31, 2016 I have setup a new server, it is constantly freezing or halting I guess. It can stay up for between 20-50 minutes. I have tried removing dockers and hardware but it still does it. I am trying to add a disk as well but because it freezes the pre clear never finishes. Attached is the syslog and diagnostics zip files. bungee91 Posted August 1, 2016 Share Posted August 1, 2016 1st question, have you ran Memtest for at least one complete pass? Most will recommend 24 hours, which I believe to be a bit excessive however a couple of passes, 8 hours or so should rule out an issue. 2nd, any BIOS updates for your board? Quote Link to comment
tim8v Posted August 1, 2016 Author Share Posted August 1, 2016 Ok, just updated the BIOS (from A06 to A09) and it has not fixed the issue. I will try a different memory stick that i know works, then run memtest. Quote Link to comment
