Mount point on unassigned

Featured Replies

I have been trying to change the mount point on an unassigned drive for a while, but it keeps reverting back.

This is what it keeps trying to use:

/mnt/disks/whatever

and I just want to use

/mnt

Right after I change it to the correct mount point I want I see the wrong one quickly flash and take me to the script page. It use to work like whatever mount point I put in there would work--- with the default script. Any ideas or thoughts.

At some point the UA devices plugin was changed to only support mount points under /mnt/disks.  I cannot remember exactly why but there was a good reason I believe.

I can't imagine you could use /mnt in any case, since it already exists. It is the mount point for all your disks and user shares and if you somehow managed to hijack that I expect it would break everything else.

Ok, makes sense. Let's see if it will let me rename "disks" to another word.

I have the same problem with SMB mounts and UD.  I want them mounted in /tmp (muscle memory on typing), and it keeps reverting.  I wind up just manually mounting them in go
