Standard shares for 6.2 migration

If I make a fresh 6.2 install.  Should i just install all the dockers as default, start them once, shut them down, then copy over my backup configuration files to the new Appdata layout?  Currently i just have a willy nilly naming convention and folder structors for dockers.

Enable docker and let unraid create the default system shares, then just copy your data to appdata and when setting up the containers, you choose the right paths in the template. Be aware that the config volume is "hidden" by default. Push show advanced settings and then you get access to the config mappings.
