Encrypting files on HD by share

Hi Guys,

 

I had a scary incident last night -- a home invasion. It really drove home the fact that if they took my small NAS, my Scanned Documents folder/share would be disastrous. Is there a way to use encryption for sensitive files, perhaps, by using utilities like encfs or eCryptfs?

 

I could keep these kinds of files somewhere else. But would be nice if we had a feature to do this with. Even if it I had to log in to the server via ssh and mount the folder by manually entering the password, I'd take it.

 

Any other ways of storing files on the share in an encrypted container of sorts?
