August 6, 201610 yr Have you installed awesome plugins like Community Applications (CA)/Fix Common Problems (FCP)? If so, you can use their ability to perform automatic backups of the unraid configuration.

What are the common/best practices you guys are following? CA will backup your flash drive, create a text file detailing your current drive assignments, backup up all of your appdata, and has support for extra scripts to properly shutdown your VM's / anything else you might need to have happen before and after a backup. I do it weekly, and have CA set to always keep 2 complete backup sets at all times before it deletes any old sets.
August 7, 201610 yr Author I'm not following regarding CA. Isn't that simply a plugin that manages other plugins/makes it easier to search and install?

August 7, 201610 yr I'm not following regarding CA. Isn't that simply a plugin that manages other plugins/makes it easier to search and install? That's what it originally was. I think it's fair to say that it has suffered somewhat from 'feature bloat' Joking aside, I wouldn't use Unraid without it, it's essential. Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
