Hi! I hope you guys can help me...

 

I need to back up some folders (3-4 folders) that have important files to my unraid server automatically. I want the backup folders in unraid server are mirror from the original folders (preferably compressed mirror). It should only update the latest files.

 

I am running XP now but planning to upgrade to w7. Do you know if there is free a software that will do this?

    Built-in ntbackup.exe or download RoboCopy. Both will do excatly what you want.

    I use SyncbackSE.  Highly recommend.

     

    +1, to manage backup to usb disks for off site backups, and unRAID for local backup,
