jbrodriguez
hello all, i have to be doing something wrong, since i'm getting just around 1.5MB/sec on a transfer from my main machine to my unraid box. i have intel gigabit nics on both machines and both are set to jumbo frames. i can transfer at around 65MB/sec to a linux box i have (also with an intel gb nic and jumbo frames). i'm not expecting 65MB/sec to unraid, but wasn't expecting 1.5MB/sec either i'm writing to the disk share directly, not going through the user share and parity disk has not been assigned yet i can post syslog if required. wholly
Either a syslog is needed or we need to congratulate you on getting bluetooth networking running on unraid. Quote Link to comment

jbrodriguez
just in case and for future reference ... i was able to solve this issue i bought a new mobo, which will live in the new case i will be buying next mobo: asus pq5 pro turbo it's a thing of beauty to watch 70MB/sec writing to unraid (no parity, writing directly to the disk share) in any case, i bought an hp 1400-24g procurve switch , and some cat6 cables, weekend project ... i hope i can sustain close to 100MB/sec Quote Link to comment
abeta
You said it's just a copy with no parity? Is this to a cache drive or just directly to the mount? Quote Link to comment
purko
You said it's just a copy with no parity? Is this to a cache drive or just directly to the mount? There should be no difference, since it's with no parity. Quote Link to comment
Joe L.
You said it's just a copy with no parity? Is this to a cache drive or just directly to the mount? From his first post... i'm writing to the disk share directly, not going through the user share and parity disk has not been assigned yet Quote Link to comment
