Docker Containers all gone after reboot

Featured Replies

So I've just done a clean shutdown and restart of my system and all the docker containers are gone. The VM's are still present. The Docker image file is still present. Selecting the "Log" in the upper right hand corner shows no errors. How do I proceed with problem determination (I'm very green to linux/Docker)?

Thanks

Error starting daemon: Couldn't create Tag store: EOF"

Can't say I've seen that before, but deleting the docker.img file and then recreating it, and then re-adding the apps via CA's previous apps section will fix it.

After the downloads are completed, it'll be like nothing happened -> you won't even need to adjust the templates.

Thank You for the quick reply. After some forum snooping I decided to use an copy of the image file I made last month (renamed it though). Sure enough that worked. This started last night when I did an EDIT and SAVE to upgrade Plex to the latest. After saving I couldn't get the plex webgui running (no connection). Shortly after that the plex icon disappeared from the docker icons in the dashboard. I figured I'd look into in in the morning. Unfortunately this morning all the docker icons were gone. After it was running again today I did the EDIT and SAVE for plex again and the same thing began to occur. This is using the copied (and renamed) docker image file (the original is still on the SSD). Tonight after work I'll try a different plex from another Author/Repo to see if it makes any difference. Question: Will the plex container from a different repo still use the pre existing settings in /appdata ?

Thanks!

Probably.  IIRC there's a couple of threads kicking around about migrating plex, and I think its no problems.  But if Plex is important to you, then make a backup of the appdata first

Have you updated all your plugins? And do you have ad blocker?
