Windows 10 VM causes system to freeze up

Featured Replies

I'm new here so if I need to relocate to a different thread let me know.

So I have a Win10 VM that I am basically using for PlayOn to record Netflix/Amazon/Hulu etc. I cannot determine the timing of everything, it appears to be random, but when PlayOn is running, at some point, the VM will go offline as well as Unraid. I am unable to RDP/VNC into the VM, I am unable to access the webUI of Unraid, and I am unable to telnet into Unraid, so I resort to reseting the system.

Initially the VM was on the array as I did not have a cache drive, but since then I bought a SSD for a cache drive and installed Windows on it to see if it would fix my issue. I have done nothing else to the VM other than following the install guide here (

), and installing PlayOn.
