But i can't mount it, what now? shall i just do a reformat ? i thinks its a

bug from my old hotswap system that created this error

This sounds similar to the problem noted here -- which Limetech has acknowledged is a problem and will be fixed in the next release:  https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=50635.msg489905#msg489905

It'd be interesting to know what the circumstances are that caused this -- it's clearly not a common issue, or there'd be a LOT of "screaming" about the current RC.    But this is now 2 cases where parity has simply "disappeared" -- NOT how we want UnRAID to behave !!  :)

Hopefully RC4 will be out fairly soon and have the fix for this.

solved it be removing disk from the array, started the array, stopped it, put the disk back in

now its rebuilding

Hopefully it won't happen again ... whatever's causing it is apparently something Tom knows about and the next release will have it resolved, so it shouldn't repeat in the future.

The issue fixed for next release is that you'll get a warning and/or maybe the array won't auto start with missing parity(s), at the moment v6.2 doesn't give any warning and array starts normally, the OP issue seems to be different, I believe his parity dropped offline and he was having trouble doing a new sync.
