How can i moved files between HDs/ in the home LAN?

Featured Replies

hey, untill now i moved/copied/ organize the filed on the unraid with windows OS that i enter to the HD and did it.

the WINDOWS OS now is replaced with mac, and i cant do it anymore.

their is other  easy user control options to do it? move files between HD's on the lan?

because on my mac, i can "Cut" and move or the mac have to be online to transfer, and its so slowly.

Use Krusader or Dolphin dockers to move files between disks via the docker web interface.

Alternatively, putty into your server and use mc (Midnight Commander).

I'd hazard a guess you're running unRaid 6.0.x  Upgrade to 6.1.9  (or your version of CA is beyond ancient - or you're still running CR)

Actually sorry.  You're still running CR which is over a year out of date.  Remove it and install CA (and if you have both update CA and remove CR)

sorry, you right, i removed the CA, which i need to install?

Yeah.  Remove community repositories and install community applications.  Would probably also be a good idea to reboot after also

so what is better? transmission on docker or on CA?

so what is better? transmission on docker or on CA?

CA is merely the "app store" that lets you install all the various docker or plugin apps.

As to which is better transmission as a docker or a plugin I would be inclined to use either Linuxserver or binhex docker apps

If CA isn't showing the app from Binhex in the available apps section, that means that the application is already installed

When you add an application with CA, the template will already be filled out.  You do not need to use the "Select template" drop down to select anything.  Leave it blank.

its not install, strange, can i  "reset" all the dockers that it will show like the first time? in the list?

also , if i leave it blank, its still not show in the docker section that i have it..

You have to restart your docker.img file over again.  Settings - Docker Settings - Advanced - Stop Service - Delete Image, then recreate it (and then reinstall the apps via CA's Previous Apps section

also , if i leave it blank, its still not show in the docker section that i have it..

You're going to have to give me a screenshot as I'm not fully understanding what you're talking about here.

CA is a plugin to access the available dockers or plugins.

If you want to use torrents use transmission

If you want to install docker containers and plugins use CA
