VM show 'libusb' error (no 28) and shuts down

Featured Replies

Hi there!

I build a new rig with two VM's. Both have a different GPU and mouse/keyboard. The first one has a HP wireless keyboard and mouse. Working fine.

The second VM has a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse. Whenever I want to boot with these, it gets an error and shuts down. When I start with the other keyboard or with none at all, it boots fine. Also, I used a Apple wired keyboard and this boots as well.

The error:

libusb: error [submit_bulk_transfer] submiturb failed error -1 errno=28
libusb: error [submit_bulk_transfer] submiturb failed error -1 errno=28
libusb: error [submit_bulk_transfer] submiturb failed error -1 errno=28
libusb: error [submit_bulk_transfer] submiturb failed error -1 errno=28
qemu-system-x86_64: hw/usb/core.c:551: usb_packet_check_state: Assertion `!"usb packet state check failed"' failed.

At first, it seems to 'boot'. The Windows logo appears. Then these errors show up in the log and the VM shuts down.

Any ideas if this can be fixed? Would be a shame if I couldn't use the keyboard and mouse I bought specifically for this project :)

Thanks in advance!
