Hi, I am having an issue where if I read a file from a 2nd VDisk in a Windows 10 VM, the disk usage will shoot to 100%, and trying to shutdown the VM or force shutdown results in the whole unraid system to become unusable. After this the server can only be shutdown by holding the power button.

Things I have noticed about it:

• The VM can locate files easily enough and traversing the vdisk works fine, until I try to open a file
  
• This happens about once per week, and the vdisk will work in between without issue, but as soon as it happens it will take hours of restarts to solve itself.
  
• Disk usage within windows will shoot to 100% when this happens
  

 

I am using the unraid system as a Plex Host, with a Windows 10 VM for personal/gaming use, with mostly games and files stored on the 2nd vdisk, while the first has programs and the windows OS on it.

I take it thae you're passing through a file and not a disk, right?
