August 23, 20169 yr Trying not to pile on, please have your important data backed up. It doesnt cost much to even use off-site backup or simply upload things to a cloud storage.
August 25, 20169 yr Author Update. Got all the pictures back. Got in the same order but saved. Used a Windows based application for recovery. Before I installed the hdd in the Nas, the fs was ntfs. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk

What do you mean it was ntfs? Did you place an NTFS drive into Unraid and attempt to add it to the array? Regardless, glad you got your photos back. Now back them up twice, then thrice, then ask if you have any questions. You have been incredibly lucky, many others have not. Don't assume lightning never strikes the same place twice.
