August 26, 20169 yr I have 2 drives in my array that I've set aside for media, Drive 1 (2Tb) and Drive 2 (1Tb). The remaining drives are for everything else. Drive 1 is currently full, less than 4Gb free space. Drive 2 has over 500Gb free. But when Mover runs it is trying to copy media to Drive 1, as such, it spits out a message in the logs about not having enough free space to move the files and leaves it on the cache drive. Obviously I've setup something wrong. What am I doing wrong?
August 26, 20169 yr Community Expert My suspicion is that your problem is the Split Level setting that you have. The key point to realise is that Split Level over-rides allocation method when selecting the drive to use. You do not give examples of the paths that are failing but it seems likely that they are such that the folders already exist on the first drive and the Split Level is stopping the equivalent being created on the other drive. You have two ways forward if this is the issue: Manually move folders from the first drive to the second drive so that there is space on both drives to live within the Split Level you have specified. Use a more relaxed value for the Split Level so that unRAID is allowed to create the required folders on the other drive. You may find the unBalance plugin is helpful if you need to move files around.
