August 27, 20169 yr I've installed preclear plugin script 2016.08.26b, along with JoeL preclear script 1.15. When I go through the preclear via the plugin It completes really fast, like less than 9 minutes for a new 3TB drive. When I go to add the new drive to the array, I don't get an option to Format the drive, only a Clear option, which keeps the entire array offline until the Clear completes - and takes forever. I'd like the preclear to work properly, so I can quickly Format the drive and add it to my array. "When a special "signature" is detected, the lengthy "clearing" step otherwise performed by unRAID is skipped" from JoeL's preclear script post The regular terminal version seems to take the normal amount of time, at 4% after 17 minutes. Am I screwing up some settings here? Thanks!
August 27, 20169 yr Check the support thread from around this post. People are reporting that it appears to be broken.
