November 16, 20169 yr Community Expert Like I posted above you need to run badblocks first to generate the list of bad sectors. Start array in maintenance mode and run: badblocks -v -o /boot/badblocks.log /dev/md2 This will take several hours while the complete disk surface is scanned, when it finishes and still in maintenance mode, run: reiserfsck --rebuild-tree -B /boot/badblocks.log /dev/md2
November 17, 20169 yr Author After 12h i still got this Screen: Forget about the stuff after:. ...(read-only test): It never started counting up the blocks, so i assume it can't work my bad blocks.log???
November 17, 20169 yr Community Expert Read only test is what you need, if it's taking that long it means the disk is very damaged and probably beyond recovery.
November 17, 20169 yr Author How is that even possible ? I used that drive before the v6 update?! How can it die by nothing? I hope when I check in 2hours I get some checked blocks...
November 17, 20169 yr Community Expert Can't tell you when the problems began, but is was already showing very troubling attributes when you posted the first diagnostics: Device Model: WDC WD20EARX-00PASB0 Serial Number: WD-WCAZAH575172 5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct 0x0033 159 159 140 Pre-fail Always - 1718 196 Reallocated_Event_Count 0x0032 001 001 000 Old_age Always - 1389 197 Current_Pending_Sector 0x0032 200 200 000 Old_age Always - 64 And by how long badblocks is taking it has much more than 64 pending sectors.
November 17, 20169 yr Community Expert After you get things going, be sure to set up Notifications so unRAID can notify you when you begin to have these kinds of problems in the future so you can take care of them before it's too late.
November 17, 20169 yr Author So I retried it and now it shows me this: Just a restart after badblocks?
