IOMMU Disabled on my rig that should be ok?

Featured Replies

I have finally had time to put together my new dual e5 2670 machine after compiling parts for a while.

Below are the main components I picked up:

2x e5 2670's, Asrock Rack EP2C602-4L/D16 MOBO, RM850x PSU, 2x Hyper 212's, Phanket Enthoo

I based the build on this thread: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=46077.msg470590;topicseen#msg470590

Unfortunately in the Bios i get:

intel TXT(lt-sx) Dependencies

The following must be supported and enabled.

VT-D Support        Disabled

VT Support          Enabled

TPM Support        Disabled

TPM State            Disabled

Any ideas as to my next step?

I have the same board and I have Iommu enabled. All the appropriate can be found in the bios and can be turned on there. Unless of course you bought the wrong stepping of CPU. One of the early steppingstone of the 2670 v1 don't play well with VT-x and VT-d

You may want to flash the latest bios for your motherboard.
