January 22, 201016 yr I just had a quick question regarding MoBo level testing and the associated syslog. I'm currently in the process of Level 2 testing on my MoBo; however, i've had issues with iTune absoluetely destroying my syslog with error entries (operation not supported, etc. nothing hardware related.) When I have iTune set to organize my library, I get an entry for every SINGLE folder in my iTunes library (something to do with rmdir not working) so my syslog fills with up to 2000+ lines of crap. Will this cause a problem when posting up my syslog for verification of Level 2 completion? Second, the Syslog page in unMenu makes it appear that the syslog is maxed out at 3,000 lines, is that the case or is that just how much of the syslog unMenu displays? I want to make sure those 2,000+ bogus iTunes entries don't cause the beginning server stratup and parity check to get dropped from the log and therefore, make my level 2 testing syslog invalid.

What happens when you export the syslog to txt, or is that where you're seeing the max?

If you use the link provided in unMENU to download a syslog, then all of it is downloaded.
January 22, 201016 yr Author Great thanks. I was just worried I'd have to start over! Now if I could only figure out the iTunes issues. Oh well! Thanks for the quick answers! Halfway there then with my Level 2.
