Hi,

 

I seem to be having a problem with hidden files not working on my Samba shares. They're working great but any files marked as hidden in Windows just ignore it and will be unmarked if you check again. From searching around it seems that this should be working but I can't seem to find any things to try. So far I've only tried a restart of the server without success as I don't know where to start beyond that!

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Not clear what you mean. What do you have under SMB Settings for Hide "dot" files?

Ah, I completely forgot there were SMB settings in the settings menu! Hide dot files are off so I'll stop the array and turn that on at the end of the day today. If it's not sorted my issue I'll give another go at explaining it tomorrow.
