unRAID randomly connect to ethernet ports

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I'm running 6.1.9 on a  Supermicro X9SCM-F-O. This MB has two ethernet ports.

The issue is that when starting unRAID, it randomly connects to either port.

I'm planning on install pfSense with one of these ports passed-through, so I need unRAID to always connect to the same one.

How can I achieve this?

Regards,

Daniel

It should always use the same, in my experience LAN2, upgrade to v6.2, you can permanently choose your main NIC when multiple NICs are present.

Thanks johnnie.black, I'll wait a few more days then, I read somewhere RC5 will be the last RC.
