September 6, 20169 yr Hi, some days back one of my HD started to give me read errors and when i check the Smart log i found a couple of errors which seems to be related to READ DMA, see attached Smart log. i checked the connection of the HD, changed the SATA cable, port and drive slot im my chassis and did also a preclear of the disk. After all that i'm still getting the errors so i'm assuming the HD has a failure. i was wondering, before im replacing it, if someone by looking at the log, could confirm that it's the HD or show me what else i may should check. thanks Matt WDC_WD40EFRX-68WT0N0_WD-WCC4E1NJJ62D-20160906-1541.txt
