New Mobo+Controllers = slow parity checks

Featured Replies

I was running on an ASRock Pro4-M with 3 SAS2LP-MV8's but kept having disks dropping during parity checks so i picked up 3 Dell H310's and crossflashed them and then put them in a ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 board and just started my first parity check. If i remember correctly i was getting 50-60 MB/s with the SAS2LP's but with this new setup im getting ~26.5 MB/s

Is there anything i should be looking at to correct this or is this what i should be expecting going forward?

Make sure the bottom PCIe slot is set to x4, from the specs:

The PCIe x16_3 slot shares bandwidth with PCIe x1_1 slot, PCIe x1_2 slot, USB3_34 and eSATA. The PCIe x16_3 default setting is in x1 mode.
