I have five Seagate 3TB drives. Four of them are identical and have firmware updates available. I downloaded the update zip from the Seagate website but I'm not sure how to install the update. The "ead Me" file (attached) says not to do the update on a RAID system except by using a utility. Is there such a utility for UnRAID?

    They are talking about hardware RAID cards, does not apply to unRAID.  Just follow the instructions to create a bootable USB flash drive.

     

    Before you boot it, I would recommend completely disconnecting all other hard drives, leave connected only the drive or drives you want updated.

    Will give it a shot once I do a parity check. Also will only do one drive at a time, just in case...

    Not sure why you're bothering, those Seagates are terrible drives with beyond terrible reliability.
